Le Cote Sukhumvit 14

We leased an apartment in Le Cote on Soi 14, for almost 6 months. It is very convenient for the BTS and night life but tends to be noisy late into the night particularly if there is a concert in the park. Our apartment was on the southwest corner so it picked up the sun and by midday the outside walls were hot to the touch which made it a bit of an oven. The air conditioning was on 24 hours/ day and would throw out an icy blast every 5 - 15 minutes which was uncomfortable and contributed to making sleeping very difficult. We started leaving the bathroom window open to try and remove some of the heat but at night it filled with a most disgusting smell, usually after it rained, even though we were on the 6th floor. This was our 3rd trip to Bangkok and the apartment was a big disappointment.

Stayed here for few months and left before the lease ends. It was my worst accommodation in Thailand. The staffs and the facilities are not professional enough compared to the high price. - Staffs: No one speaks English, loud chatting outside, entering tenant's room with a landlord without any consent and reasons. - Facilities: Old ugly design furnitures and decoration , a lot of mosquitos and flies from bathroom drain holes, bad sound proof that I can hear old man coughing every night and a mobile phone vibrating from next doors. - Plus, Location: It seems to be nice to stay near Asok BTS station. But not at all. Too many tourists around here. So you will end up in a very long queue for just buying a bottle of water. And taxi usually refuse to drive to this busy Asok area

Location wise for BTS and MRT, next across to Terminal 21 (food heaven), crowded outside but very quiet inside.
